Flying the Flag

By srtaswid

Go to www.notesfromspain.com and in the search engine type “flying the flag”.  Listen to this podcast of Ben and Marina talking about the Spanish flag.  Write a thorough response in English to the following questions.  Please use complete sentences.  You may also respond to each other’s comments.  (Just a reminder, this is a class blog and needs to be treated seriously as a school assignment.  Any inappropriate comments will be handled according to the SMCC handbook.)   This assignment is due Tuesday January 29 2008.

According to Ben and Marina, why does the Spanish flag offend some Spaniards?  (You can answer this question from one of two different points of view.)  Marina says that Spaniards would never hang a Spanish flag outside of their homes.  Why is that?  How do others perceive those who do fly the Spanish flag?  At what soccer games does Ben mention that there are often Spanish flags flying as a representation of support for Franco’s ideals?  How is this type of cultural information helpful to people who plan on traveling?  (The question of cultural information is relevant when traveling to any foreign country, not just Spain.)

Maria says that spaniards find it really weird on how in american movies have tons of houses with flags on them. It’s not that spaniards dont love their country, they think its the greatest place to live. But its just there culture. They still see it as a sign of franco, and that is almost scary to them. Its the same flag as they had when he ruled except the bird is changed to a crown. They said it would have been better for them to redesign the whole flag. Because if you put a flag on the car, then your window would be smashed. The flag is not seen as it is here in america. If you went to visit in spain it would be very important not to display the flag. If you displayed the flag you could be like beaten or threaten, or something of that sort. So it if very important to know the culture if you are going to visit somewhere, that way you do not offend the spaniards.

  2. nataliab2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because its cultural and it has to do with people being pro-Franco. People would hang a flag outside of their homes because that would me they are for Franco or for monarchy and their homes or cars could be damaged. Others percieve the people that fly the flag as pro-Fanco people. The soccer games that Ben sees Spanish flags at most often are the Real Madrid games. This cultural information is helpful to people that plan to travel because if they were to buy a Spanish flag and hang it from their car in Madrid they could have their car damaged or they could be thought of as pro-Franco people.

  3. mercedess2 Says:

    1. The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because it represents monarchy and some Spaniards want a republic. Others are against Franco’s ideas and since the flag is considered to be pro-Franco, this is another reason it offends them.

2.The Spaniards would never hang a flag outside of their home because it would be like inviting people to come and do some sort of destruction to it and they would be considered pro-Franco.

    3. Others perceive those who fly the Spanish flag as pro-Franco.

    4. Spanish flags are flown as a representation of Franco’s ideals at Real Madrid vs. Bask teams soccer games.

    5. This information is helpful to those who are traveling because they learn about the culture and learn that it would be a bad idea to wear anything with the flag on it because they might get beat up or harassed.

  4. zorritaf2 Says:

The spanish flag offends som Spaniards because it represents the monarchy and is for Franco and some Spaniards are against monarchy and want a republic government. Spaniards would never hang a Spanish flag outside their homes because people would get mad and mess up their houses if they do. Other perceive those who do fly Spanish flags as pro Franco. Ben mentions that at the soccer games when real Madrid plays against Bask teams is when Spanish flags fly to support Franco’s ideals. This information is helpful to those who plan on traveling so they can avoid making others mad and risking their safety.

  5. jorgeo2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because the flag is related to the Fascist or pro-Franco people. Also the flag has a crown on it and some people in Spain are against monarchy and they think that Spain should be a republic. Spaniards would never put a flag on their house because people would do stuff to it. There are Spanish flags when Real Madrid plays Basque teams. This is helpful so that you don’t offend people when you don’t mean to.

  6. TomasM4 Says:

The spanish flag offends some people because it is a reminder of Francos dicatorship of Spain. Spanish people would never fly a spanish flag out side their house because it would represent that they favored Franco and that is how other people would look at it. There are often spanish flags flying at Basque vs Madrid games. This culteral information is important when going to another country, because it will allow you to have a better understaning of a nations people and of their ties to their culter and country.

  7. palomab4 Says:

spaniards veiw displaying the spanish flag as supporting franco. if you are seen with a spanish flag you are asking for trouble. the games at which the flag is flown is at madri vs basc teams. it is helpful to know cultural information so you know what is or isn’t acceptable. and what you will or will not get treated badly for.

  8. rositah2 Says:

in spain there is a cultural thing against flags, by hanging them in their cars it’s like them telling people to destroy it. Spainards don’t hang flags on their homes because usually the flags represent pro-Franco people and the monarchy. So the people who see the flags think that those people are for Franco. Ben saw the flags at real madrid? soccer games. this would help people who are traveling because it shows people that they really have to be careful when visiting other countries. Things we think nothing of here could be extremely offensive to the people in another country.

  9. tigrew4 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some spaniards because it is percieved as a repsentation of Franco’s Regime and a support for facism. The soccer games between the Madrid team andthe Barca team is where people from Madrid take the Spanish flag to sorta insult the Barca people who were oppressed under Franco’s regime it is basically giving them the finger. Ths information is helpful to people traveling to foriegn countries so that they don’t accidently insult the inhabitants of that country and get yourself beat up or killed.

  10. gilbertoh4 Says:

The spanish flag may offend some Spaniards because of the bad history of it. It was used by the former dictator Franco to symbolize his rule, with an Eagle in the middle. Those who raise the flag are showing that they are for franco, and the spaniards of the northern areas dont like Franco.

Spaniards would never hang a spanish flag outside their homes because of what it symbolizes (Go Franco). Some Spaniards may take offence to this and may burn their house down or break the windows.

Others percieve those who fly the spanish flag as supporters of facism, the government franco had.

Ben does mention that people do fly the spanish flags, but its not necesarily to support his ideals, i think its more so to upset the away fans.

This is very helpful for people who may travel to spain, because we all know tourists like to show support by putting a spanish flag on their bags or stuff like that, now we know why not to do that. It also shows we need to learn about a country before we go there to avoid offending anyone.

  11. jacobos2 Says:

ha. this is very interesting. im grounded from my computer and this is my excuse to use it. gracias.

  12. gregoriob2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because the current Spanish flag resembles that of the flag that was in existence when Franco led Spain. The only difference is the crest ion the center of the flag. The flag is not flown from houses or put on cars because they would be considered fascists or supporters of Franco. This could give someone reason to destruct property or commit malicious acts. The Spanish Flag is often times flown at the soccer games of Real Madrid. This is because the fans of Real Madrid were seen as Franco supporters. They especially fly this flag when playing Basque countries. I would not suggest anyone to carry a Spanish flag while traveling unless they are looking for a fight or some sort of confrontation. Spaniards would see this as an insult, even if you didn’t know anything about the flag. I like how every time the guys said something the girl would say “actually it was more than that,” or “actually it was less than that.” She always had to be right. Anyway, don’t fly a Spanish flag. It doesn’t sound like a smart idea.

  13. pedrod4 Says:

It offends them because it is too similar to Franco’s flag.
They would be seen as fascist if they flew a flag at their house.
Spanish flags fly at games in Madrid.
If they don’t want their property vandalized, they shouldn’t f;y a spanich flag when travelling to Spain.

-Marina says that Spaniards would never hang a Spanish flag outside of their homes. Why is that?
-The Spaniards never hang flags outside of their homes because it would be like saying come and do something bad to my car lol.

-How do others perceive those who do fly the Spanish flag?
-The Spaniards perceive those who fly the Spanish flag as fascist and pro-Franco.

-At what soccer games does Ben mention that there are often Spanish flags flying as a representation of support for Franco’s ideals?

-How is this type of cultural information helpful to people who plan on traveling?
-This type of information is useful to one planning to travel to Spain because it is such a huge part of Spanish life and still affects the lives’ of many Spaniards. Anything that continually affects the day-to-day actions of a culture are obviously important to know if planning to travel to that particular destination.

  16. jacobos2 Says:

ha im pretty sure i wasnt supposed to do that but im having a lot of fun on this thing. which is the same as i would in class. so i am taking this as serious as i would a regular assignment. i hope we read these in class tommoro

  18. dorav2 Says:

Most people dont fly a flag out of fear. They feel that if they fly the flag their cars and homes will be vandalized. It is seen as a symbol for supporters of Franco. Because the Francin flag was only modified a tiny bit to create the spanish flag it is still seen as bad sign. The only place that the flags are seen are the futbol stadiums bc they show their support for their team. The Basque people fly certain flags and wave them frantically around across the stadium to antagonize the other team.. normally the Catalans. Most people are proud of only some of their heritage and therefore only fly that flag. But it if rare, if ever, that you see a flag outside of the stadium.

  19. gabrielas2 Says:

Some Spanish people are offended by the Spanish flag because it represents the monarchy and some people are against it. They would never hang a flag outside their house in fear of something happening to their house. Some people that don’t fly the flag see the people that do as pro-Franco. The soccer games that Ben sees Spanish flags at are the Real Madrid games. This cultural information tells people that all countries are different and even when you travel and you want to show your support to that country you should research it first because in this particular country it is seen as an insult.

  20. simbah4 Says:

the spanish flag offends some spaniards because to them it represents Franco, but it offends others in reasons having to do with the monarchy. these people grew up afraid of franco and that is still their mindset. i think that when kind juan carlos took over after franco the flag should have been redesigned. it doesnt seem to make much sense to just change a small logo on it. the flags do fly at real madrid games because real was franco’s team. also, they would consider themselves ‘true spaniards’ unlike the people in bass country who want nothing to do with spain and want an independent country. so waving the spanish flag at them is like a slap in the face. i think that the problem with the flag will go away when the generations that delt with franco have passed. on a side note, ben and maria’s accents are deadly annoying. also, i would have enjoyed this much more if they would say the word ‘rubbish’ at any time. BARCA FOR LIFE.

  21. margaritae4 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because it shows that they like Franco (pro-Franco), and support what he did to Spain. Spanish people don’t hang the flag outside of their house, because it supports Franco, the past dictator of Spain. The flag is related to fascism, and shows that they are still loyal, and respect Franco and his fascist values. If people do fly the flag others see them as loyal to Franco (pro-Franco), and as a fascist. Ben mentioned that they fly the Spanish flag at Rael Madrid fútbol games. This information is important to travelers because it warns them not to bring or wear a symbol of the Spanish flag, because it will offend the Spanish people very much. It gives the traveler insight to the lives of the Spanish people, and how Franco affected them while being the dictator of Spain. When you travel to a foreign country it is always useful to know about their background, values and opinions of past experiences in their country. Travelers should study their unique culture, and try to learn their ways of life.

  22. benjaminf2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some people because it is a reminder of the facist regime of Franco. Many people would never fly the Spanish flag on their homes or cars because it would be showing support for the Franco’s ideals. Others perceive those who fly the Spanish flag as supporters of Franco. At Real Madrid soccer games, fans fly the Spanish flag in support of Franco’s ideals because he had a big influence on Madrid and Real Madrid was his favorite team. This type of information is useful information for any traveler because it helps them to learn what is accepted in the place that they are visting.

  23. amaliah2 Says:

The spanish flag offends some spainards because flying the spanish flag shows support for Franco and alot of people disagree with it besides the people who do support him. People won;t fly the flag because it symbolizes a monarchy when people want a republic for Spain. Others perceive people who fly the flag as facists of Franco. The soccer games that Ben mentions the Spanish flags are flown are at the real madrid games. The people who travel know their not supposed to fly the Spanish flag because their pretty much asking to destroy their house, property, etc if they fly it which wouldn’t be good.

  24. lolar2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends some spaniards because it symbolizes being in favor of Franco. Spaniards would never hang a spanish flag outside of their homes because it is basically saying, “come and do something to our car.” People do not appreciate it and would go as far as doing destruction to get their point across. Other people that perceive those who fly the spanish flag say that they are Franco supporters. The soccer games mentioned that the flags are flown in support of Franco’s ideals are the Real Madrid games, or when playing Basque country teams. It is helpful to know the culture of a place you plan on traveling to because you don’t want anything to shock you or you do not want to do anything that would offend the people of that culture. You would want to know what is acceptable.

  25. unos4 Says:

The Spanish flag has to do with Franco and a lot of Spaniards don’t like him so they also don’t like their flag. They wouldn’t hang flags because people would sometimes do things to their homes and cars. Other people think people who fly the flag are pro-Franco. The soccer games are Real Madrid. So people don’t put a Spanish flag on the back of their backpack and get things throw at them.

    Can we watch elf again?

  26. liliay2 Says:

The Spanish flag offends many Spaniards because it is a reminder of the days under Franco. The current flag is extremely similar to the flag of Franco’s regime. Therefore, contemporary Spaniards view the flag as a political symbol of fascism and support for Franco.

If a flag was hung outside of a Spanish home, the home would be likely be subject to vandalism and other destructive acts because of the flag. This is why Spaniards do not hang the flag on their homes like the English do.

Other Spaniards view those who fly the Spanish flag as being pro-fascist or pro-Franco.

Ben says that at many Real Madrid games, Spanish flags are flown in support of Real Madrid. Franco was an ardent supporter of Real Madrid and the team got special treatment under his regime. Some Real Madrid fans are also, therefore, fans of Franco.

It is important to know this type of cultural information because as a foreign tourist, you don’t want to make any errors that could cause harm to yourself or your property. Knowing the culture of the country you are traveling to allows you to blend in better and not make any mistakes that offend the native population.

    See you in class!

    “Flying the Flag”
    1. The Spanish flag can offend some Spaniards because it can be known to be pro-Franco, and many are against his ideas.
    2. The Spaninards do not hang there flags outside their homes because it can be seen as an invitation for others to come over and dink with there stuff.
    3. Spaniards see those who fly the flag to be pro-Franco.
    4. At the Real Madrid games, the Spanish flags are flown in support of Franco’s ideals.
    5. This type of info is useful to know for people who are planning on traveling there because this is all very important facts that will tell you a little bit about what there culture is like. Also knowing this could keep you from doing something that is against there culture that could get you into some serious business.

  28. octaviome4 Says:

The Spanish flags offends some people because they think that those who display it are supporters of Franco.

Many Spaniards wont fly the flag outside their house because they don’t want to be considered pro-Franco. It may also be dangerous as their house could get vandalized.

Many people see those that do fly the spanish flag as supporters of Facism and Franco, Spains past dictator.

At the Real Madrid soccer games, specifically when they are playing Bask teams, the flag is flown.

This type of information is useful because if you are planning a trip to a foreign country like Spain, you need to know about what is acceptable to do in countries you have never been to before.

  29. gabrielas4 Says:

The Spanish flag offends many Spaniards because it is still a symbol of pro-Franco. Maria explained that people do not hang the Spansh flag outside their homes because they do not want other people to vandilize their homes or cars. They do this because the flag, along with representing Franco, is an example of the monarchy. The Spanish flag is flown at the soccer game between Real Madrid and Bask, according to Ben, flying the Spanish flag is a big insult to the Bask fans. This initerview would be very useful to people that are traveling not only to Spain, but around the World, because is teaches travelers that they should learn about the culture they are visiting before they go.

  30. zchavela4 Says:

Spanish people dislike those who display the spanish flag is because it represents those who were pro-franco during his dictatorship. The dictatorship and the revolution is a sore subject because it was so recent and people are still freaked out by it, so they wouldnt fly the flag outside of their homes because they would appear pro=franco.

the flags are flown at soccer games between real madrid and bask countries.

this information is useful to travelers because the spanish are so passionate about the negative connotation their flag holds that they would jump anyone who displayed the flag openly becasue that is the symbol of franco. so tourists should be informed of this unless they want to get jumped in a dark alley.

  31. monicaf2 Says:

The Spanish flag shows support for Franco to some people, and for their own protection, they don’t hang the flag on the outside of their homes. People who fly the flag are percieved as pro-Franco. At games in Madrid, the flag is flown in support of Franco’s ideas. If you plan on traveling, this is important to know because you don’t want to offend the people there in any way, and using something as historical as Franco could cause major problems, and could seriously ruin your time there.

  32. guadaluped2 Says:

    1. The flag affends some spaniards because it is pro-franco whichw as a really hard time for alot of people and it still affects them today because it really wasn’t that long ago.

    2. Spaniards would never hang a flag outside there house because that would mean they are for franco and people might disrepect them.

3.The flag today people would think you were pro-franco.

    4. The flags are considered to be flown at real madrid games.

5.It is very helpful for traveling because when you go there you want ot know a little bit about their cultural you dont want to offend anyone.

  33. Mateo22 Says:

~According to Ben and Marina, why does the Spanish flag offend some Spaniards?

The Spanish flag offends some Spaniards because it supports and the evil dictator Franco and there is a cultural theme.

~Marina says that Spaniards would never hang a Spanish flag outside of their homes. Why is that?

Because it would be a excuse to “come and do something to my car” hahaha or mess with their property.

~How do others perceive those who do fly the Spanish flag?

If they fly the spanish flag they are percived as “frankistas” and it represent monarchy and most people in Spain want a republic

~ At what soccer games does Ben mention that there are often Spanish flags flying as a representation of support for Franco’s ideals?

~When you go to real Madrid games especially Basque games they fly the Spanish flag because they are perceived as Franco supporters

~How is this type of cultural information helpful to people who plan on traveling?

This information is very helpful because if you were attempting to travel to Spain you would really want to know these things. These facts could save you from alot of pain and embarrassment. If i ever go to Spain i am glad i know these facts because i wouldn’t want to be beaten up because i flew a Spanish flag.

  34. Don Gordo P. 4 Says:

The Spanish Flag is found offensive by many spaniards because it was the flag that was used during Franco’s time in power. They wouldn’t hang them outside because it is an “excuse to say; ‘come and do something to my car.’” This is because the supporters of Franco fly spainish flags. the people who fly the spainish flag are thought to be in support of facism. He mentions the games in Cataluña. He also mentions the games in Madrid, where the spainish flag is flown. This information could keep someone from getting whooped by some spanish extremists or someting like that…

  35. tonis4 Says:

    1. Because of the harsh, cruel laws that Franco enforced on the Spanish people, flying the flag signifies support for his relentless dictatorship. The Spanish then criticize this support and try to uphold their democratic views by not flying the flag.

    2. To fly the flag represents support for Franco, and therefore incites other citizens to rebel against these people. From small fights to riots, the hatred instilled in the citizens of Spain cause them to harshly oppose any support for Franco.

    3. In the Madrid versus Basque games, there are several individuals who express support for Franco. This support is deeply revoked by the majority of Spain as they express their disapproval for flying the Spanish flag.

    4. This information allows visitors of Spain or people conversing with Spanish citizens to be aware of what the Spanish flag symbolizes. This could prevent unintended fights or angered ties towards several individuals visiting and talking in Spain.

  36. diegop4 Says:

The flag offends many spaniards because it is a sign of Franco. Spaniards would never hang a spanish flag outside their homes because of it pretty much means go Franco (most spaniards do not like Franco). Some Spaniards might get mad and may burn their house down or vandalise the property. the flags are allowed at soccer games tho. The information is a warning to people traveling to Spain so that they don not accidently insult the natives of that nation and get themself beat up.

  37. albertol4 Says:

The spanish flag upsets certain people because it is a reminder of Franco’s dicatorship in Spain. If a person flew the Spanish flag it would be considered support for Fanco’s dictatorship. There are often spanish flags being flown at Basque vs Madrid soccer games. This culture information is essential when traveling to another country, because it will enable you to better understand the beliefs and values of a cetrain culture. It is also a safety percaution becaus some people will lynch you if you insult them

  38. gabil2 Says:

    1. Some Spaniards are offended by the Spanish flag because it reminds them of the monarchy and when Franco was in power. Many Spaniards are republican and are against Franco, although others are pro-Franco and like the flag.
    2. If Spaniards hang the flag outside of their homes it would be like inviting someone to destroy their house or torment the family members.
    3. Others see the people that fly the flag as being pro-Franco and support the monarchy, not the republic.
    4. At Real Madrid games, fans fly the Spanish flag to support Franco. He also mentioned that at a bull fight he attended, many fans had the Catalan flag. Information like this allows people that are traveling to know that they should learn understand and respect other countries’ cultures and histories.

  39. santiagog4 Says:

the flag is bad and offensive because it shows that you are pro Franko. most people are against Franko so that is the reason why they dont fly it. if someone were to hang the flag outside there house they would be seen as though they were trators against their own people. i already answere this question like three times in the previous questions. Ben said he sees the flag at Real Madrid games.

  40. julioj4 Says:

    1) They say that the flag offends some people because it makes them rememeber the days when Franco was in power and how terrible times were. The split between the Republican, who are against Franco and the suppporters of Franco is about 50-50. People who are pro-Franco support flying the flag.

    2) Spaniards would never hang a Spanish flag outside of their homes because it is inviting people to vandalize and destroy their house. That is how serious the hatred agaist Franco is in Spain.

    3) When others see people flying the flag, they consider them pro-Franco. they think they are agaisnt the Republic and sometimes throw things at the person or spit at them.

    4) Ben mentions that the Spanish flag is often seen at Real Madrid games because they were Franco’s favorite team. Information liek this is good for travelers because they don’t want to stand out wherever they are going and they do not want to get hurt or looked down on for making a cultural mistake.

  41. angelam2 Says:

The reason people don’t fly the Spanish flag is because it used to have a huge black eagle on it that represented Franco. If you put it on the back of your car, its pretty much asking to have your car keyed or something. If you do fly it, people are going to think that you are a fascist. The game where there are a lot of Spanish flags is the Madrid vs. Basque game because Franco was a huge fan of the Madrid team and he paid off the officials so they could win all the time and stuff like that. This information is useful when traveling because if u didn’t know and went up to some random person and asked where your flags are, you could be beat up or something.

  42. tortillam2 Says:

Spaniards are offended my the spanish flag because it is very similair to to the flag during Franco’s reign and they are against him.

Spaniards don’t hang the flag outside their home because there house might be vandelized or messed with ect.

Spaniards view some people who fly the flag outside their home as supporting facism or Franko..

Some Real Madrid supporters are also pro-franko and thats why Real Madrid and Barcelona is such a big rivalry.

You should know this because if you ever visit Spain its good to know so you don’t have a spanish flag on your backpack or wear clothing that might offend natives.

  43. lolap4 Says:

The Spanish flag my offend some Spaniards because it represents monarchy and I paretically a symbol of Franco and most Spaniards dislike him very much. 2. When others fly flags who are not in favor of Franco and are in favor of being a republican not a monarchy, you will not get treated with any respect at all. Some people have been spat on, cursed and even hand things thrown at them.3. At the soccer games between Madrid and back countries flag the demonstrate being pro Franco are flown.4.This information is helpful when traveling to such indifferent places like this because here is America we flaunt our flag as a symbol of our country and proud symbol of our freedom, but many might not know this when traveling to other countries who think differently about there own flag.

  44. luciah4 Says:

1.they see the falg as offensive and showing support for franco and the harsh government he put forth.
    2. they see those people as facist and looks at it like they are “just asking for it”
    3. they fly it at the Madrid vs Basque games, where it is still seen as offensive.
4.knowing this information would help by letting u know how to not accidently offend someone.

  45. evap4 Says:

    Flying the flag

Flying the flag or hanging the flag up means you are pro-Franco. Flying the flags is bad because a lot of people are against Franco and his power. Another reason why flying the flag is bad is because it reminds the Spaniards of the monarchy rule. Hanging the flag like on your house or on your car would be at high risk to be trashed or even yourself to be treated badly. One place where the flag is flown a bunch is at the soccer games on Madrid’s side. Most of the fans on Madrid’s side are pro-Franco that is why they fly the flag, also to anger the other side. These few details would be useful to travelers, because it would save them from getting harmed if they happen to wear a t-shirt or someway show support to Franco.

  46. nachol4 Says:

The flag offends spaniards because it stands for pro Franco. People dont fly the flag because most people are against Franco. Others believe flying the spanish flag shows that they are traitors to their country. The flags are flown at Real Madrid games. It is good to know this info because it lets people know not to have flags out when they travel to Spain.

  47. raulh4 Says:

I would like to start off by saying this is late. Secondly, this would be a whole lot easier if Aquatic Fish…or Marina could speak English. Third, flying the flag in Spain is considered a bad thing becaus back in the dizay when Big Franky was the dictator his followers flew the flag. Unlike we learned today in Mrs. Smelcer’s class, flying the colors in civil war is one of the greatest duties, in Spain if u are caught waving the flag you are considered a Big Frank follower. (A lady is hyperventalating on American Idol in the other room.) Soccer has a big effect on these issues, the two teams involved are Real Madrid and Bacelona. Real Madrid was the team that Big Frank supported and Barcelona was the one place the people could get away to speak their own language. So, if you do not want to get shot, or get dirty looks, you should not fly the flag in Spain. Maybe if they changed the colors it would all be better, but then Big Frank’s supporters would be angry. It’s basically a lose, lose situation and theres no way aorund. SO, HAVE FUN SPAIN, I LOVE AMERICA. (My picture is the Adriano, Caniera fight, check it out on YouTube it’s pretty much soul ownage.)
